This project can be completed with just a lathe, a drill press and hand tools, a milling machine is not required. Even the smallest of lathes will work fine.
The materials provided include
- ultra-machinable 12L14 steel
- 01 tool steel
- brass
- 6061-T6 aluminum
- hardware
- printed 14 page drawing package with build notes
The clamp main and inner side plates are from 12 gauge steel. They have been laser cut and the hole centres have been laser etched.
Complete kit to produce two, three inch (75mm) machinist clamps. A fun project that produces a great tool for your shop!
