This project can be completed with just a lathe, a drill press and hand tools, a milling machine is not required. Even the smallest of lathes will work fine.
The materials provided include
- ultra-machinable 1215 steel
- 01 tool steel
- brass
- 6061-T6 aluminum
- all needed hardware
- printed 14 page drawing package with build notes
The clamp main and inner side plates are from 10 gauge steel. They have been laser cut and the hole centres have been laser etched.
Complete kit to produce a pair of four inch (100mm) machinist clamps. A fun project that produces a great tool for your shop!
